Theater and Gardens

From 1987 to 1992 the Museum created its gardens and outdoor archaic type theater, in an 8,000 sq. meter area, in order to hold pioneering artistic events based on Greece's history and culture.

Voluntarism

The Museum, one of the oldest and most dynamic cultural organizations in Greece, from its establishment, has been functioning as a living organism, with the active participation of young volunteers from all over Greece. Voluntarism, as a theory and practice, has for the past 35 years been the backbone of the museum's activities.

Rebetiko Seminar

Every year since 2009, during the second fortnight of July, the Seminar-Meeting for the Greek urban folk song, takes place at the Faltaits Museum.

Exhibitions

From its establishment in 1964, the Museum has a long tradition in organizing folklore and historical exhibitions.
