Konstantinos Faltaits’ Musical Works

Konstantinos Faltaits especially interested in the Rebetiko music and he is considered a pioneer researcher on this genre. In the beginning of the 1930s he started composing his own songs - mostly Rebetika but also fox and tango music - signing them as Kostas Faltaits or K. Roumeliotis. He was self-taught. He was also a member of the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AEPI).
