Announcement of the 9th Rebetika Songs Seminar-Meeting
The 9th seminar-meeting on rebetiko song will take place at the Folk Museum “Manos and Anastasia Faltaits”, from July 16 to July 23. Speeches open to the public (with english translation) will be held on the 18th and 21st of July, while on Saturday July 22 at the Faltaits Museum Theater the bouzouki virtuoso Spyros Goumas and the participants of the seminar will hold a concert with rebetika songs.

Dear friends,
The 9th seminar-meeting on rebetiko song will take place at the Folk Museum “Manos and Anastasia Faltaits”, on the island of Skyros from July 16 to July 23.
Responsible for the lessons is the musician Spyros Goumas, responsible for administration is George Makris.

Subject: “My experience: The passage from the so-called “intellectual music” to rebetiko”
Speaker: Sotiris Oikonomou
Both speeches will be held in Greek with simultaneous translation into English
