The Museum keeps a large collection of Greek magazines and newspapers, from the Ottoman era to today.
These prints present all the major historical events of modern Greek history, but also the daily social, political, financial and intellectual life of Greeks, during a period of two centuries.
The collection also consists of:
-Series of official government gazettes from the mid 19th to the beginning of the 20th century
-More than 1000 issues of newspapers covering the same period
-More than 1000 issues of philological, political, scientific magazines from the end of the 19th to the mid 20th century
-More than 1000 issues of French and English magazines and newspapers from the mid to the end of the 19th century
-Thousands of modern books.
